Start the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI agent integration.
Usage
runix mcp [flags]
Description
Starts the Runix MCP server, which exposes process management operations as tools and structured data as resources. AI agents can use MCP to manage processes programmatically.
Examples
# Start with stdio transport (for AI agents)
runix mcp
# Start with HTTP transport
runix mcp --transport http
# Custom HTTP address
runix mcp --transport http --listen :3000
Flags

Transports
stdio (default)
Communicates over stdin/stdout using JSON-RPC. Designed for CLI and AI agent use:
runix mcp | ai-agent
HTTP
Listens on an HTTP endpoint for JSON-RPC requests:
runix mcp --transport http --listen :8090
# MCP server listening on http://localhost:8090
MCP Configuration
Can also be configured in runix.yaml:
