ready
Wait for a process to be ready.
Usage
runix ready <id|name> [flags]
Description
Blocks until the specified process is in a running state (and healthy, if health checks are configured). Useful in scripts to wait for startup dependencies.
Examples
# Wait up to 60 seconds (default)
runix ready api
# Custom timeout
runix ready api --timeout 120s
# Use in scripts
runix start api && runix ready api && echo "API is ready"

Behavior
- Checks if the process exists and is in
runningorstartingstate - Polls every 200ms until the process reaches
running - If a health check is configured, waits for the health check to pass
- Returns error if timeout is exceeded
Exit Codes
